Our goal is for you to be happy with the item(s) you ordered.  Sometimes the remedy may be in our control (a production error) but at other times the issue may have arisen from circumstances outside of our control (for instance, perhaps UPS damaged the item in shipping or the customer provided the wrong information at the time of ordering).

  • Put “RETURN/EXCHANGE” in the subject line to ensure your request goes to the correct department.

Yes, if the return satisfies the required conditions – see notes below.

  • Time is of the essence, so if there is an error with your purchase, please email Customer Service immediately.
  • West and Wilkerson is not responsible for any damages that are done during shipping.  
  • We do not allow returns on Personalized items unless the error was on our part.
    •  A proof will be sent for all Personalized Items – please review the proof carefully.  
    • Once the proof is approved, the production will begin.
    • Please email info@westandwilkerson.com for any specific needs or questions.

We will not warranty any product that is damaged during shipping.

All packages are covered under insurance through the carrier.

Please reach out to us for advice on how to handle submitting a claim to the appropriate carrier.

Defective products will require immediate attention and proof of defect by submitting email with pictures to info@westandwilkerson.com 

Custom items cut to incorrect specifications will be handled on an individual basis.

We accept all major credit cards.

 We also accept payment via PayPal and Venmo!

Absolutely!  We’re located in West Texas.  If your billing/shipping address is in the Abilene, Texas area, you should see a “Local Pick Up” shipping method for $0.00.  If your billing/shipping address is outside of Abilene, Texas, but you’d like to pick up, please email info@westandwilkerson.com and they will make sure your order gets flagged for Local Pick Up.

We are located in the great state of Texas.  Abilene is 150 miles west of Ft/ Worth, 216 NW of Austin, 148 miles east of Midland, and 163 miles southeast of Lubbock. Remember, Texas is a big state and Abilene is not close to anything!

In most cases your order is made in Abilene TX (zip code for shipping 79603). There are a few items that we dropship from other locations within the U.S.

We ship via USPS Priority and UPS depending on the item and when you need your item.  Both options will come with a Tracking Number and insurance coverage and these details will be emailed to you once a shipping label has been created.

 If you’re located in the West Texas area, you’re able to pick up from our production facility located in Abilene, Texas.

If you’re located outside the country, we ship via USPS Priority and UPS.  Both options will come with a Tracking Number and insurance coverage and these details will be emailed to you once a shipping label has been created.

There is a 2-5 business day production lead time.

After the item is produced it is shipped via the method you decided on at checkout.  Depending on where you are located in the country, it can take up to 5 days to reach its destination, so please keep that in mind when determining delivery date.

In cases where the shipping company damages your order it is important to take pictures of the boxing and damage to the product.

We can help you submit a claim to the shipping company and work with you to get a replacement out to you ASAP.

We recommend you follow the tracking with the tracking number we provide you once your product ships.

Each custom order varies in price depending on how much material the job requires and how long it will take to create the order. (For instance, on products where a laser is used in the process, there is a time factor for the programmed use of the laser.)  Contact customer support to get pricing and availability!

This is where it gets fun! We can make items to pretty much any shape imaginable. We can also do state shapes other than Texas. No project is too big or small. Contact customer support for a quote today!

ABSOLUTELY!  If you can dream it, we can make it!  Feel free to contact customer support with your engraving idea and we’ll work with you to make it a reality.

The majority of our items can be engraved with a logo or mascot. Contact our customer service department for instructions on the type of files necessary to do the engraving.

To match or blend with a color, please mail us a swatch of the color. However, we cannot guaranty that an item will completely match a color due to how woods, cotton, etc., take (accept) color, but we will do our best to blend.

We search out materials/components that are produced in the USA. However, occasions arise when items may not be available here in the states. After extensive searching, we will have to go elsewhere for those items.  ALL our items are built, customized, and delivered in the USA!

Product Information: FAQs

High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) items are engineered for durability, low maintenance, and safety. The textured and matte surface safely holds food in place without slipping. The “natural” bright white color is favored for its sanitary look.

Knives stay sharp when cutting on HDPE material since it is a softer plastic material that takes much longer to dull the blade. Because of its unique molecular structure, cuts seal and become indiscernible. With the savings from replacement knives and the durability of our HDPE cutting boards, long term savings add up quick.

Bamboo, a sustainable wood and renewable resource, is a multifaceted plant commonly used for cutting boards due to its strength and durability. Inherently strong and aesthetically pleasing, bamboo is catching on in different parts of the globe as a sustainable resource.

Bamboo can withstand heat up to around 400 degrees. The exact temperature it can withstand also depends upon the duration of the exposure.

A fraction is a numerical quantity that is not a whole number (e.g. 1/2, 0.5).  To ensure we’re making a cutting board to the right dimensions we require a fractional dimension for both the short and long sides of the cutting board.  Please convert all decimals to fractions and if one of your dimensions doesn’t require a fraction, please select 0 for the fraction drop down.
